Development Branch update - v1.209

Hello Terraformers!

We've just updated a new version (v1.209) on the development branch.
To try it, see the "How to switch branches?" question in the FAQ.

This version adds the rover and new features.

Let us know if you experience significant performances changes or new critical bugs.

As usual, restart Steam to get the update, and backup your save before trying the dev branch.
All players must have the same version to play co-op.
If you have issues launching the game, remove all your mods before reporting bugs.


Temporary changelog :

  • New Vehicle feature : Unlock and craft a vehicle crafter to build a vehicle. Unlock chips (via blueprint chips) to craft special chips to upgrade your vehicle.
  • Two new biomes : Toxic caves and lush desert. Visit the East of the map to find them.
  • Wild animals now spawn naturally in certain areas.
  • One new animal species. Find it in one of the new biomes. You'll have to pet wild ones to get a species gene.
  • Two new types of foundation grids : slope & angle
  • Add grid snapping to Heaters, Vegetubes, Food growers, Beds, Autocrater, Craftstations and some other machines
  • Multiplayer : Fixed an issue where players couldn't deconstruct if host was far away
  • Improved Chinese characters support
  • Reduced number of trees for tree spreader t2 and improved range visibility
  • Improved environment to avoid "pop in" effect
  • Improved environment to avoid players getting stuck in top of cliffs
  • Added a new golden effigie
  • Modified the bioluminescence traits values to reduce the bioluminescence of animals
  • Improved performances of bees
  • Water life collector unlocks sooner
  • Minor fixes and improvements
